Concurrently, there is economic uncertainty, travel is increasingly inconvenient and costly, and global warming is threatening our planet. The solution to the communications barriers raised by the first two factors are the bandwidth-rich IP networks that now enable reliable, high definition voice and video communications from the desktop and conference room to the telepresence suite, reducing the necessity for travel.
